No Bread Gluten Free Sandwich Recipe | Breadless Vegan Sandwich Recipe with step wise pictorial and video method.
Whenever the word “Sandwich” arrives, there’s a prefix notion that it’s about 2 slices of bread with something stuffed in between.
But what if we say that this stereotype is being broken and here we have come up with a sandwich with no bread at all.
Yes, here the base is made with no flour but yellow lentils and in the name of stuffing, it’s a slice of Tofu, making this lentil and tofu sandwich recipe completely vegan and gluten free.
And believe this, when we served this yellow lentil sandwich recipe, no one could guess that it’s made without bread. This vegan lentil sandwich without bread was being loved by one and all.
This gluten-free lentil sandwich recipe is quite in contrast to what a traditional sandwich is. Where in a routine sandwich, the outer shell is a kind of one piece and stuffing is usually a mix of different ingredients. But in this high-protein lentil sandwich recipe, the outer shell is a mix of different ingredients and the stuffing is one piece, i.e. Tofu.
This vegan lentil sandwich without bread has 67 grams of protein in total and in around 8 sandwiches, if half is counted as one, then there’s 8 grams of protein in each sandwich.
On the contrary, any sandwich made with original bread can’t provide this much of protein content.
Not just the health portion, this yellow lentil sandwich with tofu also looks beautiful in appearance and you know, appearance matters alot for the kids.
Crispy golden outside and white flavorful, soft tofu filling inside, both are making an visually appealing combo in this yellow dal sandwich recipe.
So all we can say about this recipe is that it is named a sandwich, looks like a sandwich, holds like a sandwich, and can be eaten like a sandwich- but there isn’t a slice of bread anywhere in it.
