Oven Baked Orange Tofu with Fresh Orange Juice with step wise pictorial and video method.
Orange Tofu is an another adaptation of Asia’s popular Orange Chicken. It’s not just the Tofu alone but the same recipe is also in existence using cauliflower, named orange cauliflower and the same is already having its place in this blog.
When the soft tofu bites absorb the orange juice alongwith other spices and sauces, just imagining the taste of such tofu is enough to bring water to anyone’s mouth. Sweet and tangy comes together in each bite and here lies the beauty of this dish.
This recipe is very common amongst the Tofu lovers but generally it is made by shallow or deep frying tofu which brings lot of fat to the recipe. Besides, Tofu turns soggy and oily.
But we have baked the tofu which turns firm on baking and thus gives a meaty bite.
The way this recipe is prepared is ideal for people avoiding deep frying and vegan protein lovers.
It can be a perfect party appetizer or a nice addition next to rice or noodles bowl. This will look so adorable if served in lettuce cups or in Buddha bowls.
