No Rise No Yeast pizza dough | Instant Pizza recipe with step wise pictorial and video method.

Soft and fluffy base, that too without yeast, no time to rise and pizza gets ready in 25 minutes from beginning to end, which includes:

*5 minutes of dough preparation,
*5 minutes of base baking,
*5 minutes of topping and
*10 minutes of pizza baking.

Pizza baking at home is so common and regular that everyone knows how to bake a pizza. And for that reason, we never thought of creating a post on it, except an old one “how to bake pizza on tawa“, because it was something new and rarely known that time.

But very recently when we get to know that pizza dough gets ready in 5 minutes instead of long hours, we thought of creating a post on pizza.

Yes, the present one is instant and instant doesn’t mean that we have only saved the time by compromising with the taste. No at all.

We usually bake pizza base with yeast at home which takes about 2 hours from start to finish. And if these are the winters, then sometimes more than 2 hours.

And not just about time, but if talk about taste, then honestly speaking, the present one without yeast was much better than yeasted base.

At times we feel the base with yeast has some smell and taste of yeast but the base we have made here was free from such smell and taste.

The softness, fluffiness is at par with the yeast base. You will be surprised to know that there’s no rise time as well. Meaning thereby you need not to put the dough for fermentation. Isn’t that great?

Furthermore if this question is rising in your mind that why 2 methods and which gives the better results?

2 methods are given simply because the base can be prepared with both the methods. Please don’t ask that which gives the better results because both are equally good. Just in case of non-availability of curd/yoghurt you can use milk and vinegar method and vice versa.

If you ask us that from future which base you would prefer, our honest reply is that this instant pizza recipe is the best of all. From now onwards, no more store bought pizza base and no more homemade pizza base with yeast too.

STEP WISE PICTORIAL RECIPE OF NO RISE NO YEAST PIZZA DOUGH

 

METHOD 1 FOR PIZZA DOUGH

1. Add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/8 tsp salt in a bowl.

2. Whisk them very well.

3. Now add curd, little at a time, and start mixing. Do note that don’t add the entire curd altogether.

4. Add more curd and start kneading the flour. We needed to use 5 tbsp curd to knead the dough. Your requirement of curd may be different than our’s depending on the thickness of curd. So it is suggested not to add the entire curd in one go.

5. Your pizza dough with curd is ready.

METHOD 2 FOR PIZZA DOUGH

1. In case you don’t have curd/yoghurt, then adopt this method and for that, take 5-6 tbsp milk in a cup.

2. Add 1 tsp vinegar and mix well. Keep aside.

3. Add 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/8 tsp salt in a bowl.

4. Whisk them very well.

5. Now add buttermilk (milk in which vinegar was added becomes buttermilk), but little at a time and start kneading the dough.

6. Pizza dough with butter milk is ready.

MAKING OF PIZZA BASE

7. Take a dough and roll it in your palms.
8. Put it on a flour dusted surface and roll with the rolling pin. Keep the thickness as per your choice, preferably neither too thin nor too thick.

9. Place this disk on a baking tray lined with greased butter paper.

10. Prick the holes on the base using fork.

11. Place the tray in pre-heated oven and bake the pizza bases @230°C in the middle rack with both the rods on for 5 minutes.

12. Bring the baking tray out and time for the topping. Although everyone top the pizza as per their choice but we are sharing what we did.

TOPPING OF PIZZA BASE

13. Apply pizza sauce on the bases.

14. Put the mozzarella.

15. Place capsicum, onion, paneer cubes, sweet Corns and butter here and there.

16. Sprinkle salt, black pepper powder, oregano, red chilli flakes and mix herbs.

17. Bake in pre-heated oven @230°C in the top rack of oven with both the rods on for 10 minutes.

Instant Pizza recipe is ready. Enjoy.

NOTES

  1. In place of whole wheat flour, you can use all purpose flour too.
  2. If you have self raising flour, then you need not to add salt and baking powder in the flour.
  3. If you don’t have a thick curd, then add some curd in a sieve and let some water drip.
  4. As already stated, pizza topping is always your own choice. Put anything on it as you like.
  5. Same pizza can be baked in microwave using convection mode.

Ingredients
  

1 cup = 250 ml

    METHOD 1 FOR PIZZA DOUGH

    • 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour (80 gram - for 1 pizza only)
    • 4-5 tbsp thick curd/yoghurt (you may need less or more)
    • 1 tsp sugar of your choice (we used white organic khandsari sugar)
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/8 tsp salt

    METHOD 2 FOR PIZZA DOUGH

    • 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour (80 gram - for 1 pizza only)
    • 5-6 tbsp milk (you may need less or more)
    • 1 tsp vinegar (or lemon juice)
    • 1 tsp sugar of your choice (we used white organic khandsari sugar)
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/8 tsp salt

    FOR TOPPING (For 2 pizza's)

    • 1 cup mozzarella (shredded)
    • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
    • 4 tbsp sweet Corns
    • 2 tbsp capsicum (cut into small pieces)
    • 2 tbsp onion (cut into small pieces)
    • 10-12 paneer cubes
    • Few chunks of butter
    • 1 tsp oregano
    • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
    • 1 tsp mix herbs
    • 2 pinches of black pepper powder
    • 2 pinches of salt

    Instructions
