STEP WISE PICTORIAL RECIPE OF HEALTHY SWEET CORN SOUP RECIPE
MAKING OF CORN PASTE
Add sweet corns and water in a grinder jar. We have used frozen corns but you can use corns from the cob after boiling them.
Blend to a fine paste. Keep aside.
MAKING OF SOUP
Take oil in a deep pan. When the oil turns hot, add ginger garlic paste and spring onion bulbs. Cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
Add carrot flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add sweet corns paste and sweet corns.
Mix well.
Add water or vegetable stock.
When water begins to boil, add cornflour slurry.
Add salt, sugar and black pepper powder.
Boil for 4-5 minutes or until soup thickens and reach the desired consistency.
Serve hot after garnishing with spring onion greens.

- 1 cup sweet corns (frozen)
- 1/2 cup water

- 1 cup sweet corns (frozen)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 cup spring onion bulbs (chopped)
- 1/4 cup carrot flakes (thinly sliced)
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 6 cups water or vegetable stock
- 1/4 cup cornflour (mixed with 1/2 cup water to make slurry)
- Spring onion greens for garnish
