Corns usually end up as a part of some recipe or at the most as a topping somewhere but here we are presenting a dish exclusively made with corns.
Though this is not the corn (bhutta) season but yesterday found 2 corns in refrigerator and they were quite old. Food should always be respected and as such instead of letting them go waste, we decided to turn them into some interesting evening snack.
The best part of the recipe is the there was nothing to rush about as every ingredient in the recipe is simple, basic and easily available in every indian kitchen.
This recipe is having all those characteristics which makes it crispy and delicious. Corns itself has the tendency to bring crisp to anything, then rice flour and over that Air frying brought that much required crunch herein.
Although these cutlets were the amalgamation of crispy outer and soft interior.
This is not just an amazing tea time snack but a great appetizer as well, for kids and adults alike.
If made in an appropriate size, these cutlets can be the best option as a burger patty.
It indeed fits festive platters or casual get-togethers too.
So go ahead, make and gobble.
