Add all the ingredients mentioned the list of ingredients in recipe card below at the end of the post in a pan.

Roast them on low heat for 2 minutes or until they turn aromatic.

When cool completely, grind them to a fine fine.

HOW MUCH TO ADD AND SHELF LIKE OF CHAI KA MASALA?

 

Use 1/8th tsp for one cup of tea. you have a choice to add extra if love strong flavour. let this chai ka masala boil with other ingredients needed to make tea like tea leaves and sugar. Enjoy your hot cup of masala chai with the snacks of your choice.

Store it in an airtight container. It will stay good for about 3 months.

Chai Ka masala is something which takes the taste and aroma of your simple cup of tea to another level.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 g 10–12 pods or 2 tsp Green Cardamom (Elaichi)
  • 4 g 2 pods or 1 tsp Black Cardamom (Badi Elaichi)
  • 5 g 10–12 or 1 tsp Cloves (Laung)
  • 5 g 1 tsp Black Peppercorns (Kali Mirch)
  • 5 g 1 tsp Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
  • 8 g 1 tbsp or 2 pieces Dry Ginger (Saunth)
  • 2 g 1/4 piece or 1/4 tsp grated Nutmeg (Jaiphal)
  • 3 g 2 small pieces or 1/2 tsp Mace (Javitri)
  • 5 g 1 tsp powder or 1-inch piece Mulethi (Licorice Root)
  • 2 g 1 star or 1/2 tsp: Star Anise (Chakri Phool)
  • 5 g 4 sticks Dry Tulsi Seeds (Holy Basil seeds)

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients in a pan.
  • Roast them on low heat for 2 minutes or until they turn aromatic.
  • When cool completely, grind them to a fine fine.
  • Your chai Ka masala is ready. Isn't that so easy.

Notes

 
  1. You can dry roast all the ingredients for a couple of minutes before grinding.
  2. If roasting, then grind them only after they turn completely cool.
  3. Some people do like to add nutmeg, dry basil leaves, fennel seeds  and saffron along with given ingredients. we didn't add but if you like, you can try.
