MAC AND CHEESE
A delicious mouthwatering pasta recipe is something your kids always look for. So do try this yummy Mac and cheese in mug with easy steps.
MAC AND CHEESE RECIPE
Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
FOR BOILING PASTA
- 3/4 cup Pasta (85 grams - prefer small sized macaroni)
- Water to cover the pasta in mug
- Pinch of salt
- 2-3 drops of oil
FOR MAKING MAC AND CHEESE
- Boiled pasta
- 5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp corn flour/corn meal
- 1 tsp butter
- 3 tbsp mozzarella (or as much you want to add)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp red chilli flakes
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Take a microwave safe mug and add pasta in it.
- Pour water till the level pasta is completely dip in it.
- Put salt and oil.
- Microwave on high power (ours is 900) for 7 minutes.
- Take the mug out and add corn flour, black pepper powder, butter, milk, salt, red chilli flakes and oregano. Mix.
- Add mozzarella and mix again.
- Microwave (900) for 4 minutes.
- Garnish with more red chilli flakes and oregano.
- Enjoy hot.

MAGGIE
Though Maggie is something which never takes much time in cooking on stove top but if you are making a Maggie with mix veggies, then it’s a time taking process.
But in microwave, its a quick process and under 10 minutes, we can enjoy a delicious mug Maggie with vegetables.
MUG MAGGIE RECIPE
Mug Maggie
Ingredients
- 1 block Maggie
- 1 pack Maggie masala (part of the Maggie packet)
- 1 tbsp onion (thinly chopped)
- 1 tbsp carrot (thinly chopped)
- 2 tbsp green peas
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 120 ml/1/2 cup warm water
Instructions
- Take a microwave safe mug and add oil in it.
- Add onion, carrot and peas.
- Then add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
- Microwave on high power (our's is 900) for 2 minutes.
- Add Maggie masala, maggie block after breaking and water in it.
- Microwave (900) for 3 minutes.
- Take the mug out and mix.
- Microwave (900) for 1 minute.
- Mug Maggie is ready.
- Enjoy hot.

MUG PIZZA
Although this mug pizza has no comparison to real pizza in terms of taste but yes, for midnight or instant pizza cravings, this is one of the best method to satisfy your taste buds.

- 4 tbsp All purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1/8 tsp baking powder
- 1/16 tsp baking soda
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp pizza sauce or tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp onion (cut into small pieces)
- 1 tsp capsicum (cut into small pieces)
- 2 tbsp mozzarella
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp red chilli flakes
Instructions
- Take a microwave safe mug and add flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda in it. Mix.
- Add oil and milk and mix well.
- Now layer pizza sauce over the batter.
- Put mozzarella and then place onion and capsicum over the top.
- Sprinkle red chilli flakes & oregano at the end.
- Microwave (900) for 1:30 minutes.
- Enjoy hot.

MUG FRIED RICE

Mug fried rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain rice (cooked)
- 1 tbsp onion
- 1 tbsp green beans (chopped)
- 2 tbsp green peas
- 1 tbsp capsicum (chopped)
- 1 tbsp carrots (chopped)
- 1 tbsp cabbage (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp soya sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic (chopped)
- 2 tsp oil
Instructions
- Put oil and garlic in a microwave safe mug and microwave (900) for 4 minutes or until garlic turns slightly brown.
- Then add all the veggies with salt and microwave for 3 minutes.
- Add rice, vinegar and Soya sauce. Mix.
- This time put a lid (microwave safe) on mug and microwave for 2 minutes.
- Enjoy hot.

Ingredients
- 1 cup poha/flattened rice
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- 5-6 curry leaves
- 1 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp capsicum (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp carrots (finely chopped)
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Oil 1 tsp
- Few drops of water for sprinkling
- Water for washing poha
Instructions
- Take poha in a sieve and wash it 2-3 times. Let it remain wet (not soaked) for 15 minutes.
- In a microwave safe mug, add oil, mustard seeds, peanuts and curry leaves. Mix
- Microwave (high power 900) for 1 minute.
- Add carrots, capsicum, onion, green chilli, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix.
- Microwave (900) for 2 minutes.
- Add poha, salt and mix well.
- Sprinkle some water.
- Put a lid on mug and microwave (900) for 1 minute.
- Mug Poha is ready. Enjoy
