Punjabi lassi | sweet lassi recipe | easy lassi recipe is an age old Punjabi yogurt based drink usually consumed after the afternoon meals.
However there is no strict schedule for having it & you can enjoy it as and when you like.
It is to be noted that lassi shouldn’t be strictly taken as just thrust quencher & refreshing drink during summers but it comes with lots of health benefits too.

Lassi is a healthy and natural remedy used to prevent constipation, simplify the tumefying of the stomach, and other disorders relating to stomach.
As lassi is made with yoghurt, it is highly beneficial for soothing the digestive tract.

Step wise pictorial recipe of punjabi lassi
- Take a blender and add chilled curd in it.
- Add 2 tbsp sugar or as per your taste.
- Drop cardamom essence.
- Add the ice cubes & blend for couple of seconds.
- Pour lassi into the serving glass.
- Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
Serve chilled.
NOTE
- If your lassi has turned too thick, add small quantity of chilled water while blending.
- Make sure curd should be fresh, at least, not sour.

Ingredients
- 3/4 glass Curd fresh
- 2 tbsp sugar or as per taste
- 1/8 tsp cardamom essence or powder
- 4-5 ice cubes
- 1/2 tsp chopped almonds & pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Take a blender and add chilled curd in it.
