INGREDIENTS USED

POMEGRANATE: This is the prime ingredient of the recipe, so prefer to go for fresh and juicy pomegranate. More deeper the colour is, more appealing will be the raita.

CURD : Only take the fresh curd. The old one being sour can spoil the taste of your raita.

SUGAR: Sugar is just to supply the slight sweetness to the raita.

SALT : It includes both, regular salt and black salt. Black salt is full of health benefits, which includes digestion at the first place. Black salt gives different flavour to the raita.

CHAAT MASALA: Again the basic need of every food we eat : Flavours. Chaat masala does the same to raita.

RED CHILLI POWDER: It is for much needed spiciness. In place of red chilli powder, you can go for chopped green chilies.

ROASTED CUMIN POWDER : Exactly like chaat masala, roasted cumin powder is added to enhance the flavours besides helpful in digestion.

CORIANDER LEAVES : Fresh Coriander leaves will add the fragrance and freshness to the raita. instead of fresh one, you can add the dried coriander as well. However mint to works great in such recipes.
