Eggless tutti fruity sweet buns | tutti fruity bread | homemade sweet buns recipe with step wise pictorial and video method.
Eggless tutti fruity sweet buns | tutti fruity bread | homemade sweet buns recipe brought to me lot many nostalgic vibes of childhood while I was making them. It’s been my favourite since my childhood days & those memories are still in a clear vision in front of me that I used to cherish them with a cup of milk in the evening. It used to be a favourite milk time snack for me.
This is needless to say that being a child what would had been the point of attraction towards these buns. You are right if you are guessing tutti fruity. The only sad part was that the quantity of tutti fruity was too less in a bun & only red tutti fruity was being used whereas green tutti fruity was my love.
While eating the bun, I used to pick the tutti fruity first, keep aside, finish bun & milk and lastly it’s the time for collected tutti fruity. They were like dessert for me after the milk. Lol.
Even today, these buns are sold in the same shops and in the same manner they were available in old days. Two buns in one pack & very less quantity of only red tutti fruity studded in a bun.
Coming back to present day and time, let’s talk about the recipe. Have a look at the ingredients and see how easy they are to make. It is admitted that it’s little time taking but that time goes for proofing the dough. And don’t forget to observe that I have added lots of tutti fruity & green one is also there.
So re-live my childhood with me through this simple and sweet recipe.

NOTES
* Before using yeast, understand the difference between active yeast & instant yeast. Read here the full article.
* We have used the active yeast which needed to be activated separately by adding water and 1 tbsp of sugar. But if you are using instant yeast which require no prior activation, then add 2 tbsp of sugar in dough mixture in place of one.
* Giving milk wash to dough balls give nice golden crust to the buns.
* Applying melted butter on the hot baked buns will give them a shining glaze.
