Made with the easy process and conveniently available ingredients, this is a refreshing, exotic and aromatic mouth freshner whose effects lasts all day.
Rich in Iron, this mouth freshener not only eliminates odor causing bacteria of your mouth but also improves oral health, blood circulation, improving digestion, releasing stomach cramps and helps in cleaning the body and enhancing appetite.
Fennel seeds/Sounf – 2 cups
Coconut/Naariyal (shredded) – 1 cup
White sesame seeds/Safed Til – 1/4 cup
Sugar candy/Mishri – 1cup
Sugar Coated multicolour fennel seeds/Rang Birangi chini lagi hui Sounf – 1 cup
Betel nut (shredded)/Lachha Supari – 1 cup
Rose petal jam/Gulkand – 2 tablespoons
Tutti frutti – 1/2 Cup
Cardamom seeds (powdered) – Ilachi ka powder – 2 teaspoons
1. Dry roast fennel seeds, sesame seeds and coconut one after another in a non stick pan on low flame for 1-2 minutes.
2. Keep them aside and let them turn cool.
3. Now take a big bowl and add all the ingredients mentioned in the list of ingredients herein above.
4. Mix the ingredients together and enjoy.
Store the homemade mouth freshener in an airtight container. It will stay good up to 3 to 4 months.
You can curtail or refix the quantity of ingredients as per your preference and liking.
Don’t roast fennel seeds, coconut and sesame seeds too much. They may turn out bitter and black, thereby will damage the taste & appearance of mouth fresher.
