Better Store your homemade peanut butter in the refrigerator. You can also freeze it.

In the refrigerator, it will stay good for a month or two. And freezing will enhance its life furthermore.

Crack the shells and take out the peanuts. Take them in a wide plate and rub them between your palms so that most of their skin get detached. Blow up the skin.

Now take either using high speed processor or small chutney jar, and add some peanuts in it. Grind on a pulse mode. Initially the peanuts will turn into powder. Grind it more, again on pulse mode until smooth and creamy.

Peanut butter is ready.

  • If you are using raw peanuts, they need to be first roasted either in a pan or oven.
  • If you like the peanut chunks in your peanut butter, then when the creamy peanut butter is ready, mix few thinly chopped peanuts in the creamy peanut.
