Non Alcoholic Pina Colada recipe with step wise pictorial and video method.
Pina Colada is a National drink of Puerto Rico, an unincorporated territory of United States.
This refreshing drink is traditionally made with pineapple, coconut milk and rum.
But we are making the non-alcoholic version using just pineapple and coconut milk, which together make a magical blast in every sip.
This Vegan and non-alcoholic creamy, icy and slushy mocktail is a perfect treat for hot days especially for pineapple lovers which gets ready in 5 minutes.
INGREDIENTS USED IN MAKING PINA COLADA
PINEAPPLE: We bought the fresh pineapple and after cutting it, kept in freezer overnight after putting in ziplock bag.
Next morning made a refreshing drink using frozen pineapple.
PINEAPPLE JUICE: Used the readymade pineapple juice which comes in Tetra packs.
However you can squeeze out the fresh juice at home.
COCONUT MILK : Again the coconut milk is also homemade. However you can use the canned one.
STEP WISE PICTORIAL RECIPE OF NON ALCOHOLIC PINA COLADA
1. Add 1 cup Pineapple, 1 cup Pineapple juice, 1 cup coconut milk and 1 tbsp sugar in a blender.
2. Blend well.
3. Pour in serving glass with ice cubes.
Enjoy chilled.
NOTES
1. We have used frozen pineapple but you can use the fresh pineapples also.
2. Instead of coconut milk, you can use coconut cream also but in that case, just dilute the cream with little water.
3. If you like the creamy textured Pina Colada instead of grainy one, you can sieve the Pina Colada once it is made and before pouring in serving glasses.
