This easy banana mango ice cream recipe came to our help when we were looking for something made with leftover cream. Yes, we were just having 4-5 tbsp of cream left with which nothing viable could be made & didn’t want to add it to any daal or curry.
But all thanks to a superb home chef Ms. Rinku Khanna, whose recipe from a food group worked for us. And it is worth noting that this recipe is not just about using leftover cream in small quantity, but this is the easiest ever recipe of some ice cream, we have come across.
You might have found number of ice cream recipes made without using ice cream machine but in all those cases, at least a hand blender is needed to beat the cream. But what to say of ice cream machine, you don’t even require hand blender to make this easy ice cream recipe.
If you have regular mixer/grinder (& which everyone has), then this recipe is for you. No cooking, just blend, freeze and eat.
All you need is few common ingredients, 1 to 2 minutes & of course few hours for freezing.

Step wise pictorial recipe of mango banana ice cream
- Take out the pulp from the mangoes and add in the blender.
- Add rest of the ingredients also except nuts & tutti fruity.
- Blend everything into a fine puree.
- Transfer the puree in airtight container & freeze for an hour or until it is semi set.
- After one hour, take the semi frozen puree and transfer to blender again. Blend it one more time to break ice crystals formed.
- Transfer this puree back into the container.
- Add chopped nuts, tutti fruity, mix & back to freezer for getting set properly. It will take 8 to 10 hours.
Your mango banana ice cream is ready. Enjoy
NOTES
Better finish this ice cream in 2 to 3 days because thereafter bananas in the ice cream will begin to change their colour to blackish.

Ingredients
- 2 mangoes ripe
- 2 bananas ripe
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tsp vanilla essence
- Nuts of your choice
- Tutti fruity optional
Instructions
- Take out the pulp from the mangoes and add in the blender.
- Add rest of the ingredients also except nuts & tutti fruity.
- Blend everything into a fine puree.
- Transfer the puree in airtight container & freeze for an hour or until it is semi set.
