STEP WISE PICTORIAL RECIPE OF BEST HOMEMADE CHILI OIL

 

1.Take a bowl and add red Chilli flakes, black pepper corns, finely chopped garlic, salt & sugar.  The quantity of all the ingredients is given in the recipe card below.

2. Add oil in a small pan and put on heat.

3. Add  bay leaf, ginger, cloves, cinnamon stick & star anise.

4. Let oil turn very hot.

5. Immediately sieve the hot oil in the bowl carrying red chilli flakes and other ingredients.

6. Mix well.

7. Let it cool down completely before storing.

  • 2 tbsp red Chilli flakes
  • 5-7 black pepper corns
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup neutral flavoured oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Small piece of ginger
  • 3 cloves
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise

Instructions
 

  • Take a bowl and add red Chilli flakes, black pepper corns, finely chopped garlic, salt & sugar.
