Eggless Chocolate Dump Cake Recipe

STEP WISE PICTORIAL RECIPE OF EGGLESS CHOCOLATE DUMP CAKE RECIPE

 

Take a microwave safe dish. This needs no greasing.

Note : As we are making this cake in microwave, so using microwave safe glass dish. If you are going to bake it in OTG, use aluminium or other OTG friendly dish and grease it with oil.

Add all the ingredients in this dish given in the recipe card below i.e. whole wheat flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, curd, oil and milk.

Note : if you eat eggs, you can replace curd with 2 eggs and in place of oil, can add melted butter.

Whisk them until everything is mixed so well.

Top some chopped chocolate compound and choco chips.

Note : you may skip this topping or even add more like chocolate cookies after breaking, some sprinklers, gems, chopped nuts like almonds, cashews , pistachios, walnuts or anything you love on your chocolate cake.

Clean the edges of the dish for a smooth and beautiful cake appearance.

Microwave on high (our microwave is 900) for 15 minutes.

Note : As every microwave is different, so don’t microwave for 15 complete minutes in one go but check in between by inserting toothpick whether cake is done or not. We checked at 8 minutes then 14 and decided to give one minute to it because it was almost done at 14th minute. If you baking in OTG, bake in a a preheated oven @180°C for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Check by inserting a toothpick and if it comes out clean, its a sign that cake is properly baked.

Enjoy hot or cold after cutting into slices. If you like, you can drizzle chocolate syrup over the slices before eating.

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar of your choice (we used brown sugar)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup curd/yogurt
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Some chopped chocolate compound and choco chips for topping (optional)
