Amla Murabba recipe with step wise pictorial and video method.
Murabba is an Arabic word refers to a sweet fruit preserve.
There are many fruits which can be used to make murabba like apple, mango, apricot, gooseberry, plum and quince.
But gooseberry i.e. amla is most commonly fruit used for making Murabba which is full of health benefits.
Amla is a miracle fruit and this name is uttered with great pride in Ayurveda.
Embedded with great health benefits, this amla is rich in vitamin A, Vitamin C, calcium, polyphenols, magnesium and iron.
Amla Benefits are many amongst which the most common are that it is good for arthritis pain, digestive system, helps in pregnancy, ulcer, constipation, mensural cramps and it is full of anti ageing properties.
It not only enhances immunity but is extremely helpful in maintaining cholesterol level.
HOW TO PRESERVE AMLA MURABBA?
Always use a clean sterilized glass jar and amla murabba can be stored for about an year at room temperature.
This needs to be taken care that always use clean spoon to take out the murabba for serving.
STEP WISE PICTORIAL RECIPE OF AMLA MURABBA RECIPE
- Wash and soak Amla overnight.
2. Take them out of water and poke them with fork.
3. Put them in another pan and boil amla for 15 minutes in sufficient amount of water after putting a lid.
4. Take the amla out of water and keep aside.
5. Add sugar and amla in a pan. Also add 2 tbsp of water.
6. Mix and put the lid on after adding cardamoms.
7. Cook for about 1 hour while stirring at intervals.
8. Sugar will caramelize and amla will turn brown.
9. Take them out and put in a container and let them remain there for 3 days so that sugar seeps in very well.
Amla Murabba is ready. Enjoy.

- 500 gram sugar
- Water for boiling
- Water for soaking
- 2 green cardamoms
Instructions
