FOR WHITE GRAVY
- 100 gram paneer
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp ginger (chopped)
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 2 green chilies (chopped)
- 1/4 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- Handful of coriander leaves (chopped)
FOR ROASTING PANEER
150 gram Paneer (cut into cubes)
8-10 dices of onion
2 tbsp desi ghee
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
Salt to taste
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
MAKING OF WHITE GRAVY
Add paneer and milk in a grinder jar.
Grind smoothly. Keep aside.
Take a pan and add butter, oil, cumin seeds, green chilies, ginger, garlic, onion, salt and coriander leaves.
Cook for 2-3 minutes or until onion turns translucent.
Add coriander powder, black pepper powder, kasuri methi, garam masala and mix.
Add water and cook for a minute.
Then add paneer+milk paste.
Cook for 5-7 minutes or until paste turns slightly thick.
Add sugar and mix. White gravy is ready.
ROASTING PANEER
Take another pan and add desi ghee in it.
When ghee melts, add kasuri methi, dry red chilies and onion dices. Saute for a minute.
Add paneer cubes, red chilli powder, salt and white sesame seeds.
Saute till paneer turns slightly brown.
SERVING
Spread white gravy in a serving dish.
Arrange sauted paneer over it.
Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy.
