Paneer Jalfrezi restaurant style is a delectable and vibrant Indian dish made with paneer that boasts a riot of colors, flavors, and textures.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gram Paneer
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1 large tomato
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 green chilli
  • 2 dry red chilies
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Take paneer and cut into sticks or batons.
  • Likewise cut the bell peppers (all 3 colours) and tomato into sticks and batons.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, green chilli and dry red chilies. Saute till ginger garlic paste turns brown.
  • Then add and saute onion till turns pink and translucent.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix.
  • Cook it too until the raw aroma of tomato go away.
  • Add water too smoothen the masala.
  • Then add bell pepper and tomato sticks/batons.
  • Saute on high heat for 2 minutes. Just roast them good but let them loose their crunch.
  • Lastly add paneer sticks, kasuri methi, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  • Give them a good mix but carefully without breaking the paneer sticks.
  • Paneer Jalfrezi is ready. Enjoy.
