Paneer Jalfrezi restaurant style is a delectable and vibrant Indian dish made with paneer that boasts a riot of colors, flavors, and textures.

- 200 gram Paneer
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1 large tomato
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 green chilli
- 2 dry red chilies
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Red chilli powder to taste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- Juice of one lemon
- 1/4 cup water
Take paneer and cut into sticks or batons. Likewise cut the bell peppers (all 3 colours) and tomato into sticks and batons.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, green chilli and dry red chilies. Saute till ginger garlic paste turns brown. Then add and saute onion till turns pink and translucent.
Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix. Cook it too until the raw aroma of tomato go away.
Add water too smoothen the masala.
Then add bell pepper and tomato sticks/batons.
Saute on high heat for 2 minutes. Just roast them good but let them loose their crunch.
Lastly add paneer sticks, kasuri methi, coriander leaves and lemon juice. Give them a good mix but carefully without breaking the paneer sticks.
