Paneer 65 air fryer recipe with step wise pictorial and video method.
WHAT IS PANEER 65?
Cubes of paneer/Indian cottage cheese marinated in delicious sauce, then deep fried and lastly sauted in spices makes a tongue tickling, soft and juicy from within and crispy from outside starter/appetizer, called Paneer 65.
WHY PANEER 65 IS CALLED 65?
Originally there was no such recipe called Paneer 65 and it was only a non-vegetarian dish named Chicken 65 and it was named 65 because it was invented in the year 1965.
But in the world of creativity, innovations keep on going and Paneer 65 is the outcome of that impersonation. Chicken was replaced by Paneer and here we got another scrummy snack Paneer 65.
METHOD OF FRYINGS
There are three ways to fry the paneer. The authentic traditional method is deep frying.
However now a days people are cautious about their health so the alternative ways are baking and air frying.
While deep frying and air frying makes the paneer more crispy than baking.
In the given recipe, we have air fried the paneer.
INGREDIENTS USED IN PANEER 65
PANEER : Always prefer to use soft and fresh paneer for the recipe. This is important for the reason that aged paneer becomes rubbery on frying. So we have used fresh homemade paneer.
CURD : Curd brings the requisite moisture in the recipe along with water. Although you can add only water but curd brings the thick base to the marination.
FLOUR : We have used rice flour and cornflour as binding agent. In place of rice flour, you can add maida as well. Wheat flour too works but you won’t get that restaurant taste.
Rice flour not only makes the recipe crisp, but gluten-free as well.
SPICES : Spice powders are the backbone of the recipe and deliver flavours to the dish.
However don’t get panic having look at a long list of ingredients.
