Vegan Omelette recipe

Soft and fluffy Omelette made without eggs is so delicious that it will hard to figure out for anyone that it is eggless.

1 cup = 200 ml
- 1/4 cup gram flour/Besan (50 gram for one omelette)
- 1 tbsp All purpose flour/Maida
- 1 green chilli (chopped)
- 2 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Few pinches of black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Butter (we used vegan butter)
- 1/3 cup water
Add gram flour and all purpose flour in a bowl.
Add water and whisk for 5 minutes leaving no lumps.
Now add salt, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and baking powder.
Whisk them so well.
Grease a non stick pan with butter.
Pour the batter into the pan.
Let it cook from one side for 2-3 minutes on moderate heat or until the omelette is firm enough to invert.
Turn and cook it from other side too.
Your vegan Omelette is ready. It is generally served hot with tomato ketchup.
