Instant saunf sharbat premix : A powder made with fennel seeds and sugar makes a good refreshing drink for summers.

Ingredients
  

For Instant Saunf Sharbat Premix

  • 1 cup saunf / fennel seeds
  • 4 cup sugar
  • 30-35 cardamoms
  • 2 tsp black pepper

For Variyali Sharbat Recipe (1 glass serving)

  • 2 tbsp Instant Saunf Sharbat premix
  • 1 glass cold water
  • 2-3 Ice Cubes

Instructions
 

MAKING OF SAUNF SHARBAT PREMIX

  • spread saunf in some tray or plate.
  • Place the plate under the sun for at least 30 minutes.
  • transfer saunf in a blender.
  • add sugar, cardamoms and black pepper too.
  • grind them to a fine powder
  • sieve this powdered mixture into a big bowl.
  • some part of the mixture will sit in the sieve which could not be grinded properly.
  • transfer this leftover again in the blender & blend to a fine powder.
  • again sieve it to the same bowl. repeat the process as many times until you get the whole or at least maximum leftover powdered.
  • saunf sharbat premix is ready. store it in an airtight jar.

MAKING OF VARIYALI SHARBAT RECIPE

  • take a glass and add 2 tbsp of premix in it.
  • add chilled water in the glass.
  • mix the premix with the help of a spoon.
  • add ice cubes and serve chilled.

Notes

  1. Mishri is the option of sugar.
  2. If you don't have a blender sufficiently big to accommodate all the ingredients in one go, you can grind the mixture in parts also. in such a case, make sure to mix everything very well at the end when the premix is ready.
  3. Instead of water, variyali sharbat can be made in milk too. this is the best way to serve variyali sharbat to the kids.
