take a bowl and add ingredients mentioned under the head 'for marination'. mix them.
cut paneer into squares and add to the bowl.
with the light hands, gently coat the paneer with the flour mixture. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
take a pan with oil and shallow fry the paneer cubes till they turn golden brown from all the sides. take them out.
the pan in which the paneer was fried, take out some of the oil so that only about 2 tbsp of oil is left.
add ginger and garlic and on low flame stir fry till it turns golden.
add green chillies and saute for a second.
add onion squares, capsicum Squares and chopped spring onion. Saute on high flame just for 2 to 3 minutes.
in the meantime, prepare the corn slurry. we have taken the same bowl in which paneer was marinated because there is still some residue at the base of it.
add all the eight ingredients mentioned under the head "for corn slurry" into this bowl and mix properly so that they remain no lumps.
immediately pour this slurry into the pan. Mix and cook for 2 minutes.
add fried paneer cubes and mix well.
cook for one minute. your paneer chilli is ready.
