Homemade Breadcrumbs (5 methods)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bread (18 slices - 250 gram)

Instructions
 

  • Take bread slices as much as you want. We have used one whole bread which is of 250 gram weight and 18 slices. You may trim the sides of the bread if want to make purely white breadcrumbs. However we don't do so because these brown edges are no way a problem in making breadcrumbs.

PAN METHOD

  • Break the bread into pieces and put in the grinder jar.
  • Grind to a course powder.
  • Roast this course powder on lowest flame in a pan till crisp.
  • Leave to cool completely and it is your breadcrumbs.

BAKING METHOD

  • Arrange the bread slices on a baking tray lined with butter paper, which need not to be greased.
  • Bake in preheated oven @180 degree C for 10 minutes. Flip the slices mid way.
  • Bring out the bread and let it turn cool completely.

GRILL METHOD

  • If you have the microwave, arrange the bread slices on grill rack.
  • Grill for 5 minutes on grill mode.
  • Bring out and leave the bread to cool down completely.

AIR FRYER METHOD

  • Arrange the bread slices in air fryer basket.
  • Air fry @160 degree C for 6-7 minutes.
  • Leave to cool completely.

TAWA METHOD

  • Arrange the bread slices on tawa.
  • Roast the bread slices from both the sides on lowest flame till crisp.
  • Leave the bread to cool completely.
  • By now the entire bread is cooled down.
  • Grind the bread and breadcrumbs are ready.
