WHAT IS VIRGIN MOJITO
Mojito is a cocktail comprises of white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water and mint and termed as alcoholic drink.
But when a mojito is made without alcohol (rum), it is termed as Virgin Mojito or Nojito.
VIRGIN MOJITO with WATERMELON
Mojito is made using different seasonal fruits and here we have come up with one of the most cherished summer fruit watermelon.
Needless to say about the benefits of having body-healing fruit during the hot scorching summers, watermelon has to offer an array of nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
And you can well imagine the richness of this summer drink which has mint & lemon, the must have ingredients in summer.

Step wise pictorial recipe of Virgin Watermelon mojito
- Cut lemon into wedges and remove their seeds.
- Also cut watermelon into small pieces and remove their seeds.
- Add lemon wedges into serving glass.
- Add watermelon, mint leaves and powdered sugar.
- Muddle them well with a muddler so that lemon, mint and watermelon release their flavours.
- Add crushed ice and at last, pour soda water filling the glass till the top.
- Give a gentle mix.
- Garnishing with watermelon piece, if you desire.
Serve chilled.
NOTES
- You can use the frozen watermelon also.
- If don’t want to crush the ice, can add ice cubes too.
- In place of soda water, 7up or sprite can also be used, but in that case, don’t add sugar because these cold drinks are already sweet.

Ingredients
- 7- 8 Watermelon cubes/pieces
- 1 lemon
- 7-8 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Handful of crushed ice
- Soda water as needed
Instructions
- Cut lemon into wedges and remove their seeds.
- Also cut watermelon into small pieces and remove their seeds.
