Tea needs no introduction. It is the world popular Indian beverage after water made by boiling tea leaves with sugar and some aromatic spices in water and milk.
There’s hardly anyone who do not know how to make tea.

Actually, 99% people know how to make tea but a very big percentage of people make it wrongly. That’s why you must have heard that inspite of using the similar ingredients, tea doesn’t taste good many a times.
Tea is not just about boiling water, milk, sugar, tea leaves and spices together, which most of the people have keep on being doing wrongly since years.
Tea making is a science which is basically based on timing and right sequence of ingredients.
What should first go must go first and no compromise on that. This is the key to make a perfect tea stall style tea, we all love.
IMPORTANT TIPS TO MAKE PERFECT TEA STALL TEA RECIPE?
1. This is always the water which should first go to pan.
2. Never add anything to raw water. Let it first boil.
3. Ginger should be added only after crushing and not grating for best results. Likewise, cardamoms should also be crushed.
4. Further process should be done on low to medium heat.
5. This is the first turn of ginger and cardamom to jump into boiling water.
6. Their boiling time is 3 minutes. Either set the timer on induction or mobile or keep an eye on clock.
7. Then the turn of milk comes.
8. But before adding milk, sieve the milk first because malai spoils the taste of tea.
9. Add sugar only when milk begins to boil.
10. Then add tea leaves only when sugar melts completely.
11. After adding tea leaves, there must be a 3 minutes timer for boiling milk+water.
If you keep in mind all the above mentioned points while making a tea, you are gonna get exactly tea stall style tea.
STEPWISE PICTORIAL METHOD OF TEA STALL TEA RECIPE
1.Firstly sieve the milk so that there remains no malai in it.
2. Take a pan and add water in it and leave the water for boiling at high temperature.
3. In the meantime, add cardamoms and ginger in mortar.
4. Crush them with pestle.
5. When water begins to boil, bring the heat to medium low and further entire process will be done at the same temperature.
6. Add crushed cardamoms and ginger.
7. Boil for 3 minutes. (You must set the timer)
8. After 3 minutes, add milk.
9. Let milk come to boil. Stir 1-2 times.
10. When milk begins to boil, add sugar.
11. Let milk boil for a minute to dissolve sugar completely. Keep stirring.
12. Now add tea leaves.
13. Let it boil for 3 minutes. Keep stirring at intervals.
14. Tea is ready to be served.
15. Sieve it into cups.
Enjoy piping hot.
NOTES
- Milk should be sieved so that there remains no malai because malai causes the formation of ghee in tea, hence spoils the taste of tea.
- People do love to add cinnamon, cloves, black pepper and/or fennel seeds. Choice is yours.
- Colour of tea will depend on the quality of tea leaves.
