Sift all purpose flour, powdered sugar and salt in a bowl.
Add yeast.
Give them a mix.
Now place a kind of well in the middle.
Start adding plant milk, little at a time, and keep mixing.
Knead a dough for good 5-7 minutes.
Tightly seal the bowl and place it at some warm place in the kitchen for first proofing for 1:30 to 2 hours.
After the said period, the dough will double in size.
Punch it and release all its air.
Now place the dough on clean kitchen surface and knead it again just for a minute or two.
Then start rolling it with the help of a rolling pin.
Roll the dough to the 1/2 inches thickness.
Take a round cutter (be it some bowl or glass) and mark cuts on all the flattened dough.
Now take a small round cutter (some nozzle or cap of medicine bottle) and mark cuts in the very middle of the round cuts, shaping them like doughnuts.
Place these donut shapes on a tray, with little gap between them.
Cover them with a damp cloth.
Let it rise again for 45 minutes in some warm area of the kitchen.
They are puffed up again.
Arrange them in greased air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket. Only add as much as can done in one go.
Brush oil on them.
Air fry @175°C for 6 to 7 minutes or until they get their brown colour. But do not over brown them.
Take them out of the air fryer basket and fry the second batch.
Add dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and melt the chocolate. If don't have microwave, melt the chocolate using double boiler method. Dip the top of each doughnut in melted chocolate.
Let the extra chocolate drips off.
Arrange the chocolate coated donuts on a tray.
While the chocolate is still wet, top the donuts with colourful sprinkles.
Let the chocolate completely dry.
Enjoy.
