Ingredients
  

1 Cup = 250 ml

  • 1 cup - 130 gram All purpose flour / maida
  • 1/4 cup - 60 ml vegetable oil (plus few drops for greasing)
  • 1/2 cup - 120 gram sugar (granulated)
  • 1/4 cup - 60 ml milk (at room temp.)
  • 1/2 cup- 140 gram curd (at room temp.)
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Take a bowl and add oil, sugar, milk, curd and vanilla essence.
  • Give them a good mix.
  • Place a sieve on the bowl.
  • Add all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Sift them into the bowl.
  • Mix them and make a smooth batter with no lumps.
  • Pour into a greased cake tin.
  • Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes @180 degree C.
  • To check the done-ness of cake, insert toothpick in the cake. if the toothpick comes out clean, your cake is properly baked, otherwise bake for some more time.
  • Remove cake from oven. let it cool down, invert and slice.
  • Enjoy.
