Raisins Jam Recipe : Blend soaked raisins, cook with lemon juice until thick, cool, and store. Naturally sweet, no added sugar.

1 cup = 250 gram
- 2 cups golden raisins (nearly 310 gram)
- 2 cups boiling water
- Very small piece of cinnamon or 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Wash raisins and put into a bowl.
Add boiling water and mix.
Immediately put a lid on the bowl so that heat shouldn't escape. Rest for 1 hour. Alternatively you can soak raisins for 3-4 hours or overnight in water at room temperature.
After one hour, put the raisins alongwith soaking water in a grinder jar.
Also put a piece of cinnamon equivalent to 1/4 tsp of powdered cinnamon. But in case you have cinnamon powder, save to add later.
Grind to a chunky puree. However you can make it totally smooth depending on your preference.
Transfer the puree in a heavy bottomed pan. (If you haven't added cinnamon stick earlier, add the powder now).
Leave to simmer.
Keep stirring at intervals.
Puree will keep on shrinking with each passing minute. But don't miss to stir.
After about 30 minutes of cooking, the puree will attain the thick consistency, much like jam.
Take the pan off the heat and add lemon juice in it. Mix.
Leave to cool completely.
