Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic (chopped)
  • 2 cup/200 gram pasta of your choice (we used penne)
  • 2 cup/500 ml full fat milk
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella optional

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and add butter and oil in it.
  • When butter melts, add garlic.
  • Saute on low heat until garlic begins to turn brown.
  • Add pasta and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Add milk, salt, oregano, red chilli flakes and black pepper powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Let everything cook together on low to moderate heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • You can check by cutting a piece of pasta to know whether it is cooked or not.
  • If the pasta is cooked properly, add mozzarella (optional) and mix well for couple of seconds until it melts completely.
  • Immediately serve hot.

Notes

  1. The starch of pasta and mozzarella will help to thicken the sauce, so there's no need of adding any flour for thickening.
  2. In place of mozzarella, you can add processed cheese/cheese slice as well.
  3. If you like, you can also saute the vegetables of your choice alongwith garlic.
  4. If you are not adding any cheese, then to thicken the sauce, you can add 1 tbsp of oats at the stage when adding mozzarella.
