Meethi Seviyan Recipe Without Milk in Microwave is a quick, delicious dessert made with vermicelli, sugar, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients
  

1 cup = 250 ml

  • 1 cup roasted vermicelli
  • 6-7 tbsp sugar
  • 2 green cardamoms
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1.5 tbsp desi ghee
  • 3 tbsp nuts of your choice we used almonds, cashews and pistachios
  • Pinch of saffron food colour
  • 1.5 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Take a small microwave safe bowl and add desi ghee and nuts in it.
  • Microwave on high for 4 minutes.
  • Nuts must have turned slightly brown and aromatic.
  • In a big microwave safe bowl, add water, sugar, green cardamoms, bay leaf and food colour.
  • Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
  • Then add roasted vermicelli. If you have unroasted vermicelli, then roast them first.
  • Mix well.
  • Microwave 3 minutes.
  • Now add ghee roasted nuts.
  • Microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Meethi Seviyan without milk in microwave are ready. Enjoy.

Notes

  1. The given method is only for thaat big sized (moti wali) semiyan and not that long and very thin crisp one.
  2. The given recipe is made only on high powder i.e. 900 in our case. If the high powder of your microwave is different from 900, then your cooking timings may vary.
  3. If you enhance or reduce the quantity of ingredients, cooking timing at each step will also vary.
