Instructions
Wash peas properly and add to a grinder. Peas we are using are raw & not boiled.
Grind coarsely. Don't make a paste.
Transfer grounded peas into a bowl.
Add whole wheat flour, onion, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, carom seeds, kalongi, mango powder,
garam masala
, salt and oil.
Mix everything well with hand.
Slowly adding water, knead a normal dough which we knead for regular roti on daily basis.
Cover the dough with moist kitchen towel and put for rest for 10 minutes.
Taking a ball out of dough, roll it between your palms to make it properly round.
Roll on a flour dusted platform with the help of rolling pin.
Grease tawa with
oil
or ghee and put rolled paratha on tawa.
Cook paratha from both the sides by apply ghee both sides.
Your matar ka paratha is ready. Enjoy it with curd or a hot cup of tea.
