Loquat ki chutney recipe

Sweet, tangy, and spicy, loquat ki chutney is a unique condiment made from ripe loquats, perfect for enhancing meals.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gram Loquat (semi ripe)
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 green chilies
  • 8-10 mint leaves
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Wash loquat and cut off their black edges from both the sides.
  • Peel and deseed them.
  • Put all the loquat in a grinder jar alongwith rest of the ingredients i.e. onion, green chilies, mint leaves, roasted cumin seeds, sugar, salt, black salt and ice cubes.
  • Grind them to a fine paste.
  • Loquat ki chutney is ready.

Notes

  1. Our mint leaves are quite a big sized one so added only 8-10 but you can enhance the quantity depending on mint leaves size you have.
  2. Instead of ice cubes, you can add water as well. The quantity of ice cubes/water depend on your liking for the consistency of chutney.
