Leftover Rice Cutlets in Air Fryer makes crispy, flavorful tea time snacks using simple spices and yesterday’s cooked rice too.

Ingredients
  

1 cup = 250 ml

  • 2.5 cup Leftover cooked rice (or whatever quantity you have)
  • 1/2 cup semolina (or gram flour, all purpose, boiled potatoes)
  • 1 tsp ginger (grated)
  • 2 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp Chaat Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions
 

  • Take a bowl and add all the ingredients mentioned in the list of ingredients mentioned above.
  • Mix them well.
  • Turn them into a dough. Rest 10 minutes.
  • Make cutlets with greased hands.
  • Put in the air fryer basket.
  • First Air Fry @180° C for 10 minutes.
  • Thereafter turn the sides of the cutlets.
  • Again Air Fry at the same temperature for same duration.
  • Cutlets are ready. Enjoy with green chutney, tomato ketchup or any dip of your choice.

Notes

  1. Semolina can be replaced with besan, rice flour, all purpose flour, boiled potatoes, boiled sweet potatoes or boiled & mashed lentils.
  2. You can also add thinly chopped onion and any vegetables of your choice.
  3. If you are making this recipe by deep or shallow frying, them no need to add oil while making the dough.
