Cut the edges of bananas.
Peel them.
Cut into medium size pieces.
Apply bit of salt and 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder to the banana pieces. Keep aside.
Add peanuts in a pan and dry roast them on low heat until slightly brown. Take them out.
Take a reasonable quantity of oil in the same pan and when oil is hot, add banana pieces.
Fry till bananas turn brown from both sides.
Take them out.
Remove excess oil from the pan leaving behind 1 tbsp.
Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, ginger garlic paste, onion, tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
Mix well.
Put a lid and let the tomatoes cook.
Do stir at intervals.
In 10 to 12 minutes, oil will be seen separating the tomatoes which is a sign that is are properly cooked.
Add fried banana pieces. Mix.
Add water, mix and put a lid. Let it cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the lid and add garam masala, coriander leaves and roasted peanuts after coarsely crushing them.
Serve hot.
