Instant suji bread without yeast | No knead instant rava bread without yeast

Instant suji bread is a no-yeast, no-knead rava bread recipe, quick to prepare with simple ingredients, ideal for breakfast.

Ingredients
  

1 cup = 250 ml

  • 1.5 cup suji/rava
  • 1 cup fresh curd
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp sugar (we used white khandsari sugar)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ENO
  • 1 tsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Add suji in a grinder jar.
  • Grind to a powder, as fine as you can.
  • Add curd.
  • Give one more blitz.
  • Suji & curd will get mixed.
  • Add milk, oil, sugar and salt in the blender.
  • Rest 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, put the oven for preheating @170°C for 10 minutes.
  • Coming back to ingredients, grind them again to make a smooth batter.
  • Transfer the batter in a bowl.
  • Add baking powder and ENO but make sure before adding these two ingredients, oven should compulsorily be preheated because you can't keep the batter out after adding them.
  • Give it a good mix.
  • Transfer the batter in a greased loaf pan.
  • Immediately put the pan in the middle rack of the oven with both the rods on @170°C for 50 minutes.
  • When done, take the pan out and check by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean, its a sign that bread is properly baked.
  • Invert the bread out of loaf pan and place on a cooling rack.
  • Apply butter over the top of the bread.
  • Cover the bread in a damp cloth for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the cloth and let bread cool down completely.
  • Cut into slices and enjoy.

Notes

  1. Make sure the curd and milk should be on room temperature.
  2. Instead of whole 1/2 cup of milk, you can add 1/4 milk and 1/4 cup water.
  3. Oven should compulsorily be preheated before adding baking powder and ENO.
  4. Take the bread out of loaf pan immediately after it is out of oven. Otherwise the heat will make the bread soggy.
  5. Do apply the butter over the top of bread for a shiny glaze.
  6. Covering the bread with damp cloth will help in making the bread soft.
