Quick and creamy Instant Rabri recipe with milk powder – a rich, festive Indian dessert ready in minutes without condensed milk.

1 cup = 250 ml
- 1 +1/2 cup Milk (full fat)
- 3/4 cup milk powder (full fat)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp Nuts of your choice
In a pan add milk.
Then start adding milk powder but little at a time.
Keep whisking and keep adding milk powder in 2-3 batches.
Once the milk powder is completely dissolved with the milk, put the pan on low heat.
Add sugar.
Let the milk boil and keep whisking.
Also keep scraping the sides of the pan whenever the malai is stuck there.
Milk will reduce and turn thick in 12-15 minutes of boiling.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool down completely.
Instant Rabri is ready. Serve chilled after garnishing with nuts of your choice. We have used almonds, pistachios and dry rose petals.
You can add a pinch of saffron if you want,.
