  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 small onion
  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

FOR STORING LEAVES

  • Firstly pluck the leaves from the stems.
  • Wash the leaves very well.
  • Roughly chop them. You can use knife for the purpose. However we did it with the hand itself.
  • Put the chopped leaves in each cavity of ice cube tray.
  • Pour water in each cavity.
  • Freeze.
  • Whenever required, take out a cube and put in the vegetable/curry you are cooking.

FOR USING STEMS

  • Cut the roots and wash the stems very well.
  • Put them in a grinder along with dry pomegranate seeds/anardana, green chilies, onion, sugar, salt and water.
  • Grind to a smooth paste.
  • Chutney out of coriander stems is ready.
  • Enjoy.

Notes

Instead of washing the leaves after plucking, you can first wash the whole bunch and thereafter pluck the leaves. Do as per your convenience.
