Take milk and vinegar in a bowl and rest for 10 minutes.
Add oil and sugar and whisk together well.
Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
Pour in vanilla essence and mix.
Take a baking tin lined with greased butter paper.
Pour 3-4 tbsp of white batter and spread it at the base.
Arrange hearts, preferably, with pointed side downwards in a way as shown in the picture.
Pour rest of the white batter over the hearts.
Bake for 40-45 minutes in pre-heated oven @180°C in the middle rack with both the rods on.
Check by inserting a toothpick and if the toothpick comes out clean, means cake is properly baked.
Let the cake cool down completely.
Cut into slices and enjoy.
