Cucumber boat Chaat Recipe

Cucumber boat chaat is a refreshing and fun snack, perfect for summer—light, tangy, and bursting with vibrant desi flavours.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 3 tbsp sprouted green moong
  • 3 tbsp sweetcorns
  • 2 tbsp peanuts
  • 3 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup tomatoes (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions
 

  • Add sprouted green moong, sweetcorns, peanuts, onion, tomatoes, black pepper powder, black salt, salt, chaat masala, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  • Give them a good mix and keep aside.
  • First cut the one side of cucumber length wise to make it flat so that it can be given a firm base to lay down without moving. A video is attached with this post to make you understand in a better way.
  • Cut the top of cucumber length wise.
  • Again give second thin slit but keep the end intact.
  • Insert and toothpick on the intact side.
  • Lift the top flip of cucumber and insert in a toothpick.
  • Lock the head of toothpick with carrot piece or anything you can think of. Olive too is a good choice.
  • Scrap the middle of cucumber removing all seeds and pith creating a space in the centre of cucumber.
  • Fill it with the prepared stuffing.
  • Enjoy.

Notes

  1. There's no rules regarding what to add and how much to add. Choice is yours.
