Crispy market style Moong Dal Namkeen in Air Fryer brings crunchy, spicy, guilt-free snacking straight to your kitchen easily.

1 cup = 250 ml
- 1 cup Moong dal (unpolished)
- 2 tsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Wash and soak moong dal for 4 hours.
Take enough water and 1/2 tsp salt in a pan.
When water begins to boil, add soaked dal after draining the soaked water.
Discard the white foam collected on the surface of the water.
Cook dal exactly for 8 minutes.
Drain through a sieve and rest dal for 10 minutes so that most of its water is gone.
Add dal to air fryer basket.
Also add oil and salt.
Air fry @180 degree C for total 15-18 minutes or until dal turns crisp. But do not air fry for all the time in one go. First air fry for 6-7 mins, them take the basket out, stir and again air fry and so on. Do this process in 4-5 gaps.
Finally when the dal turns crunchy, its ready.

- If you don't have Air Fryer, you can fry moong dal in the hot oil but through a sieve. Because moong dal is very small in size. If you directly add moong dal in the oil for frying, it could have been extremely difficult to recollect it after getting fried.
- We have added only salt in the name of spices because this is what added in it what you get from market. But if you like, you can add red chilli powder, black pepper powder and chaat masala too. Choice is yours.
