Roasted poha namkeen recipe is a combination of dry roasted poha and peanuts with other spices and worth as a tea time snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cup poha (flattened rice)
  • 1 cup Peanuts (raw)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 Green chillies (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Raisins
  • 3 tbsp Dry coconut
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast 4 cup poha in a heavy bottom pan until slightly changes its colour.
  • Take it out in a bowl.
  • Likewise dry roast 1 cup peanuts and 3 tbsp dry coconut.
  • Keep in the same bowl carrying poha.
  • Pour oil in a pan and add green chilies, curry leaves, salt and turmeric powder. Saute for couple of seconds.
  • Add raisins and sugar and saute for few seconds until raisins begin to puff up.
  • Add already roasted poha mixture
  • Give them a good mix.
  • Roasted Poha namkeen is ready.

Notes

  1. You can add any other dry fry too of your choice.
  2. You need to store it in airtight container otherwise poha may turn soggy.
