Punjabi lassi is an age old Punjabi yogurt based drink usually consumed after the afternoon meals.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 glass Curd fresh
  • 2 tbsp sugar or as per taste
  • 1/8 tsp cardamom essence or powder
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • 1/2 tsp chopped almonds & pistachios for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Take a blender and add chilled curd in it.
  • Add 2 tbsp sugar or as per your taste.
  • Drop cardamom essence.
  • Add the ice cubes & blend for couple of seconds.
  • Pour lassi into the serving glass.
  • Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios. Serve chilled.

Notes

  1. If your lassi has turned too thick, add small quantity of chilled water while blending.
  2. Make sure curd should be fresh, at least, not sour.
