Rava Toast is a delicious bread toast made on tawa instantly with minimal ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup Rava / Semolina / Sooji
  • 1/4 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Tomato finely chopped
  • 6 tbsp Yogurt/curd
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly flakes or Red chill powder
  • 1 tbsp Kasoori Methi / Dried Fenugreek leaves optional
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for greasing tawa

Instructions
 

  • Take a bowl and add all the ingredients i.e. curd, semolina, kasoori methi, onion, tomato, salt, black pepper and red chili flakes.
  • Give it a good mix. This mixture will be very thick. Keep aside.
  • Take the bread slices one by one and spread the sooji mixture on them evenly using spoon.
  • Apply some oil on non stick tawa and place it on a medium heat.
  • Now place the coated side of bread towards the tawa and let it roast for 2 to 4 minutes or until the side turns golden brown.
  • Then turn the side of the bread and toast other side also.
  • Rava toast is ready. Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup or any other dip of your choice.
