Take a mango, wash and wipe it.
Slice the mango into vertical pieces from the pit so that you get 2 mango cheeks.
Now give a few vertical and few horizontal slits giving the mango flush a diamond pattern. Make sure not to cut through the skin, so that the peel should remain intact.
Brush some olive oil over the cheeks flush.
Grease the grilling pan with olive oil and pre-heat the pan.
Place mangoes cheeks on the center of the grill with fleshy side downwards.
Grill for 1-2 minutes and thereafter rotate the mangoes 90 degrees and grill for 1-2 more minutes. You can use forks to handle the cheeks comfortably.
Take the mango cheeks out and put in a serving plate.
Pop the flesh by holding the skin side and pushing upwards.
Squeeze half lemon over the mango cheeks.
Sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder.
Enjoy.
