Plain sandwich bread recipe

Shredded veggies, corns, mayo and bit of seasoning inside the raw/unroasted bread slices and a delicious plain veg sandwich recipe is ready.

Ingredients
  

1 cup = 200 ml

  • 1/2 cup carrots shredded
  • 1/2 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1/4 cup corns boiled
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise (we have used homemade oil-free vegan Mayonnaise)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2-3 pinches of salt
  • 6 slices of sandwich bread

Instructions
 

  • Cut the edges of the bread. Keep the bread aside.
  • Mix carrots, cabbage, corns, mayonnaise, pepper and salt in a bowl.
  • Spread this mixture on one side of the bread.
  • Place another slice of bread over the stuffing.
  • Cut the bread diagonally.
  • Enjoy with tomato ketchup.

Notes

  1. In addition to carrots and cabbage, you can add cucumber as well.
  2. Be careful while adding salt because mayonnaise too have lots of salt already.
  3. Do not discard the crust part of the bread. You can make bread crumbs or many more recipes with bead crust.
