Take all purpose flour in a bowl and add oil and salt in it.
Rub it with hands. Soon it will be like breadcrumbs consistency.
Now begin to knead a dough using water but water must be chilled.
Add very little water at a time and knead a tight dough.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, take a paper or card, put your hand on it and mark from the outers of your hand including fingers too.
Cut from the marked line into a hand shaped cutout.
After 15 minutes, take out the dough and roll it into a log on some clean surface.
Divide the dough into 2 equal portions.
Take up one portion and roll it to thin with the help of rolling pin.
Place hand cutout on the rolled dough and cut the dough in the shape of hand.
Place this hand shaped dough on a baking tray lined with greased butter paper.
Likewise make another hand shaped rolled dough with second half of dough and keep aside.
Now take a jam and spread it over the palm and fingers of first hand already placed on baking tray. Remember, leave the edges of hand free.
Spread water on the edges of first hand.
Place second hand over the first hand in a way that same fingers are affixed.
Pinch the sides with fork so that jam sandwiches well between both the hands.
Give a milk wash to hand shaped dough.
Place the tray in preheated oven and bake @180°C for 35 to 40 minutes or until hand turns crisp and brown.
