Homemade Milkmaid | condensed milk recipe with milk is a kind of recipe which seems to be difficult but actually it’s making is very easy. With just 4 ingredients, easily available at home, you can make your own milkmaid and can use it to make incredible desserts.

This is our second attempt in making this recipe because our first attempt tuned out to be Dulce de lache. There’s no difference between the taste and texture of both condensed milk and dulce de lache except colour. The difference in the colour is due to the reason that sugar in dulce de lache is caramelized whereas there is nothing so in case of condensed milk. If you are interested in knowing more about dulce de leche, then click on its name mentioned above in blue.

While making the condensed milk for the first time, we added sugar at the early stage of boiling and as a result sugar gets caramelized. So if you are making condensed milk at home, be alert with respect to the timing of adding sugar. But accidentally if you have added sugar earlier and your condensed milk has become dark like dulce de lache, don’t worry. try the recipe of doodh peda made with it. Lol
