And now we are taking this opportunity to share our joy and happiness with you all with this very soft, spongy and melt in mouth eggless tutti fruity cake.

This cake is so easy and delicious that once you try it, you will definitely love to try it time and again. If you look into the list of ingredients here under, you will realize that how basic are the ingredients to make this delicious eggless tutti fruity cake.

Step wise pictorial recipe of eggless tutti fruity cake :

1. Take a bowl and add curd and powdered sugar in it.

2. Give them a good mix.

3. Add baking powder and baking soda. mix.

4. Rest for 5 minutes and it will have a frothy surface.

5. Add oil and whisk gently so that the froth doesn’t settle down.

6. Place a sieve over the bowl and add flour, salt, custard powder, milk powder and tutti fruity in it.

7. Sift the ingredients in to bowl. The tutti fruity will remain in the sieve. The purpose to add tutti fruity in the sieve was to coat it with flour. Keep tutti fruity aside.

8. Add pineapple and orange essence.

9. Give a good mixing but not over mixing.

10. Now add tutti fruity to the bowl.

11. Mix everything well but don’t overdo.

12. Pour the batter into the greased 9 inches cake tin lined with greased butter paper.

13. Put some tutti fruity over the top of batter too.

14. Tap the cake tin so that the air bubbles release, if there’s any.

15. Bake it in the pre-heated oven for about 40-45 minutes @180 degree Celsius in the middle rack of the oven with both the rods on.

16. Bring out the cake pan from the oven and let it cool down for 10 minutes.

17. Take the cake out of tin, remove the butter paper underneath and place cake on cooling rack to cool down completely.

Eggless tutti fruity cake is ready. Cut into slices and enjoy.

NOTES:

  1. Use only vanilla flavoured custard powder.
  2. In case you don’t have vanilla flavoured custard powder, skip it and add vanilla essence.
  3. Pineapple and orange essence can be replaced with mix fruit essence.
  4. Keep an eye on the cake is always suggested while baking because there may be a difference in timing of preparation depending upon oven to oven. 
  5. Check your cake with the help of tooth pick. If the tooth pick comes out clean, it means cake is ready.
  6. If you don’t have oven or want to bake without oven, then follow the instructions here. However the entire process of making batter for tutti fruity cake and baking period will remain the same what is mentioned here in this post.

Eggless Tutti Fruity cake having the beauty of colorful tutti fruity.

  • 1+1/4 cup All Purpose Flour/maida ((177 gram))
  • 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar ((173 gram))
  • 1/4 cup Milk powder ((36 gram))
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Pineapple Essence
  • 1/2 tsp Orange essence
  • 1 cup Curd ((at room temp))
  • 1/4 cup Custard Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Tutti Fruity ((75 gram))
  • Salt a pinch
