Aloo chaat recipe with step wise pictorial and video method.
Made with the shallow fried potatoes, ground spices and topped with yoghurt and tongue tickling chutneys, aloo chaat is such a finger licking dish you can enjoy any day anytime.
This is such an easy recipe that needs just couple of minutes to assemble. Only the potatoes roasting part takes bit of time but even that too is not too much.
CAN I USE RAW POTATOES
Yes, instead of boiled one, you can use raw potatoes but those needs to be deep or air fried otherwise there is every likelihood that they will remain raw within. Better to use the fork to check the doneness of potatoes. just insert and you will feel the difference.
STEP WISE PICTORIAL RECIPE OF ALOO CHAAT
1. Roast potatoes in oil until they are slightly brown.
2. Take them in a serving plate.
3. Pour curd, green chutney and imli ki chutney over potatoes.
4. Sprinkle red chilli powder, chaat masala, cumin powder and salt. Over the top put some sev, pomegranate arils and coriander leaves.
Aloo chaat is ready. Enjoy.
NOTES

- 2 potatoes ((boiled, pealed & cut into cubes))
- 1 tsp oil
- Red chilli powder as required
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tbsp curd
- 2 tbsp green chutney
- 2 tbsp imli ki chutney
- Handful of pomegranate arils
- 2 tbsp sev
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves
